I don’t know where to start! This isn’t an hotel it is an unforgettable experience! Hosts Toni and Sofi are so passionate about their business and this is reflected in the attention to detail in the rooms and the food. On check in you receive an explanation of the hotel and the mini i-pad you use to order your dinner and obtain information on Guadalest and the surrounding area. We were in the smallest room the Aitana which is a bit narrow but clean and comfortable with beautiful bedding and towels in the well equipped en-suite and an amazing views from the little balcony down the valley towards the sea. When the tourists leave at the end of the day, silence reigns. Downstairs there are rooms to sit by the fire and read, watch a DVD and even a music room with an extensive range of CDs and board games. Now the food. As Toni explains it is all sourced locally and prepared by Sofi. Dinner cost euros 23,50 per person, plus drinks. It is 3 courses of the most amazing tastes and presentation. Breakfast doesn’t disappoint either. Allow 45 to 60 minutes just to ear breakfast! Again, Toni gives the full history of each piece of fruit, home made jams, sausages, eggs, cheeses, pastries, fresh juice etc and is never the same 2 days running and the presentation is a work of art. I could write more but you need to go and experience the hospitality and ambience of Casa Noves. By the way Toni, my missing spectacles had rolled under the car seat whilst I was driving down the winding road to the dam!
