We had a wonderful stay in Cases Noves, small mountain boutique hotel with spectacular views and amazing hosts, within walking distance to Guadalest Castle.
Our room Superior Sea View king bedroom was on the top floor. Many steps to reach the third floor. Bathroom had a big chair where you could enjoy amazing views sitting down.
We had a splendid sit down breakfast in the terrace, cooked and served in stages by the amazing hosts. Anything you could want for breakfast was presented. The day was sunny and clear, from the terrace you could see all the valley to the sea. Wifi was great and parking instruction were easy to follow.
This trip in May 2019 we drove from Moixent, where we had a great tour of Celler del Roure, a fascinating Valencia Vineyard that ferments and ages wine underground in old buried Clay Amphoras like they did in ancient times. Tour was fun and exciting.

After lunch at Pitxó, we drove to Alcoi then highway CV70 driving a winding mountain road with many curves, some of them hairpins to Guadalest. Only 1:30 hrs away. The two lane road was in very good condition passing picturesque villages. Driving our rented Fiat 500 was perfect for this road.
We highly recommend staying at Cases Noves, Guadalest. We could only book for one night. Be sure to book way in advance, it has great demand.
